Welcome to Japan. Is this your first time here? I work as a guide, taking guests from overseas like you to places in the Kansai region where you can catch a glimpse of the traditional Japanese way of life, places that most foreigners don't usually visit.    This time, I will introduce you to a special experience in the Doi shopping street, located just a bit away from the center of Osaka. （10 minutes away to Doi station on Keihan line from Kyobashi station）    This area is actually where my mother spent her childhood. In this region, where many small, family-run shops line the streets, elementary school students even had lessons called "Children's Bank," where they learned to count money and save.    You might even see children helping out at the shops after school. Today, you will have the opportunity to listen to an amazing taiko drum performance, experience playing the taiko drums yourself, and we will record this experience on a DVD as a gift for you!   After working up a sweat, playing drums,you'll visit a specialty store for sake and other alcoholic beverages, where you can hear about rare drinks and taste them while enjoying all-you-can-eat yakiniku.    Even if you're not used to grilling meat yourself, the restaurant owner, Yamamoto san speaks fluent English and will help you have an enjoyable yakiniku experience.
